Ms. Barboza, a former Assistant City Attorney, has comprehensive experience on code enforcement lien matters and related settlement negotiations. She also represents clients in probate administration, estate planning and business matters.
Born and raised in Perú, Ms. Barboza’s strong work ethic and commitment to service come naturally from a long line of attorney practitioners in Perú: her father, grandfather and brothers. She is fluent in Spanish and utilizes her bilingual skills to help foreign clients investing in U.S. real estate.
Nydia Menéndez has more than 20 years of experience handling estate planning, taxation, real estate, family business succession planning and corporate matters. She represents institutions and individuals in a diverse range of industries and a variety of contexts, from Fortune 500 multinational companies to small family-owned businesses.
Ms. Menéndez earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1999. Her strong background and tax experience allow her to find creative and efficient solutions to protect and preserve what her clients have worked so hard to earn.
Ms. Menéndez is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian and French.
Ms. Menéndez has established strong community ties through its participation and support of numerous voluntary bar associations and local community organizations.
